Order Online at www.constellationforms.com/auto Product NewsBump Payments without Rewrites in MSPIn dealing with customer payment issues, we’ve made it easier to deal with short-term payment problems by allowing for the Bumping of payments to the end of the loan. Thus, allowing dealers to give the customer the opportunity of putting that particular payment off until the end of the loan. This gives the dealer some flexibility in reacting and ultimately dealing with a customers’ payment issue without having to rewrite the deal. However, when bumping the payment, the interest will continue to accrue. MSP V4.0.4D Release NotesIn version 4.0.4D, a few issues were addressed. In the Account Center, we fixed the problem with duplicate receipt numbers being created when selling to a Related Finance Company, and added support for PassTime Elite. Also in the Account Center and on the Ledger card, we’ve provided the ability to customize a “Pending Repossession” message. In the Report Center, we changed Total Cost on the Custom Inventory Report to include Dealer Prep and Lot Prep. In addition, we adjusted PDF forms pricing. VCAT V .143 Release NotesIn version .143, several customer product enhancement requests were addressed. For one, we’ve provided for a multi-state tax flag, providing the ability to pull lenders per Finance Type if Multi-state flag is checked, listing state specific lenders. Also, we’ve made it easier and quicker to calculate and report sales commissions. Finally, we added an updated Vin Decoder. WEBEX not VNC & WHYIn linking with our customers in the past, we’ve used a program called VNC. There were several issues inherent in the program. For one, we were concerned about the level of security that the program provided for both us and the customer. Secondly, in linking with the customer, we found that the program was very unstable. As many of you may recall, we seemed to often lose the connection and have to reconnect. This, of course, became unacceptable for a means of linking with our customers. After the acquisition, we began to use a program called WEBEX. This program has proved to be much more stable, versatile, and provides more functionality than VNC.
